What’s a Tech Provider? Meta explains

Why numbers get banned
Nine reasons. Reten handles every one.
- 01The riskMessaging people who never said yesOffers only go to people who joined. They scan your QR and confirm on WhatsApp themselves. A number from your bills is never treated as a yes.
- 02The riskSending too oftenNever more than 3 a week.No customer gets more than 3 messages from you in any 7 days, whatever you send.
- 03The riskGetting blocked or reportedStopping takes one tap.Every offer has a “Stop promotions” button, and replying STOP to any message works too. After that, they hear nothing more.
- 04The riskMessages Meta never checkedOnly Meta-approved templates.Every message you start uses a template Meta has approved. Free chat only happens when the customer wrote to you in the last 24 hours.
- 05The riskMessages at the wrong hourNothing automatic at night.Between 9 PM and 9 AM, every automatic message waits for morning. Only a message you send yourself goes out right away.
- 06The riskMessaging numbers that bounceDead numbers are dropped. If a number fails twice in a row, say it’s not on WhatsApp, Reten stops sending to it. If someone turns off your offers inside WhatsApp, offers wait until they write to you again.
- 07The riskIgnoring warnings from MetaOffers pause when Meta warns you.If Meta rates your number red, offers stop while service messages and replies still go. If Meta says someone has had enough offers today, Reten waits 24 hours.
- 08The riskThe same message, again and againOnce is enough.A customer never gets the same welcome, win-back or campaign twice.
- 09The riskAn offer right after a bad visitReten holds offers for 14 days.If someone rates you low, promotions pause while you make it right.
How we don’t spam
Reten will never let you…
- Send offers to someone who hasn’t joined
- Treat a number on a bill or an uploaded list as a yes
- Keep messaging someone who said STOP
- Start a chat with a message Meta hasn’t approved
One honest note: Meta makes the final call on every number, so no one can promise a number will never be restricted. What Reten does is take away the usual reasons. The full rules are on our WhatsApp consent page.
